Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-aged children in coaching or educational settings.
• Strong communication skills with young learners.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Vaccinations up to date.
• Live Scan background check required.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Join Amazing Athletes of San Diego as a Preschool Athletics Coach and inspire young children to develop their athletic skills in a fun and engaging environment. This role is perfect for energetic individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and sports. We have jobs available in all parts of the county and you will work in the closest schools to your home location.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate athletic curricular activities for preschool children.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Assess and track individual progress in physical skills and confidence.
• Engage with parents to provide periodic updates on their child's development.
• Maintain a safe and organized play area for all activities.
• Collaborate with other coaches to enhance program offerings and events.
• Promote the importance of physical fitness and healthy habits among preschoolers.
• Attend training sessions and team meetings to improve coaching techniques.

Requirements:

• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a coaching or educational setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young learners.
