Job summary

Stanislaus County Office of Education seeks a Preschool Associate Teacher to support a Head Start program in Riverbank, CA. Under supervision, you will help plan, implement and evaluate child development activities for preschoolers and assist families and students.

The role requires a high school diploma with an Associate/Bachelor degree path preferred, plus experience with children. A California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher is required, along with CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school required.
• Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program preferred.
• One year experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit.
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive child development program for preschool aged children.
• Provide support to students and parents.
