The Goddard School in Granger, IN is hiring preschool assistant teachers for both part-time and full-time roles. Join our team to work with children in a safe, nurturing classroom environment and contribute to a premium educational experience.

We offer professional development, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement, with supportive lead teachers and a focus on child growth and family relations. A CDA is preferred and training will be provided.

Formación

• CDA preferred as a certification for teaching in early childhood.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty.
• Works productively without supervision.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working toward common goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an outstanding ability to listen and follow up on issues constructively.
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multitasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling of children.

Responsabilidades

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development.
• Establishing positive and effective family relations.
• Working with the lead teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty.
