Job summary

Grow Early Learning in Faison, NC is seeking a Preschool Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom and engage children through guided activities.

Responsibilities include communicating with parents about child progress, following health and safety guidelines, and collaborating with a team to support all learners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent completed.
• Completed state-approved training program for early childhood education.
• Experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Enrollment in an associate/bachelor’s degree program or CDA/certification in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment for all children.
• Maintain a clean and organized learning space.
