Priceless Treasures Preschool and Childcare is seeking a caring Assistant Teacher for our Preschool Promise classroom. You will support the lead teacher, help with activities and small groups, and help maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with young children, are reliable and team oriented, and can follow lesson plans and directions. This role offers a collaborative team, opportunities for development, and a chance to contribute to children's early

Qualifications

• Must have Oregon Registry Step 5 or higher.
• Experience with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Must meet Oregon DELC/Preschool Promise training requirements.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well with a team.
• Patient, nurturing, and able to support children with diverse needs.
• Able to follow classroom routines, lesson plans, and directions from the lead teacher.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the lead teacher throughout the day.
• Helping with classroom activities, small groups, and learning experiences.
• Supporting positive behavior and classroom routines.
• Assisting with meals, transitions, playground time, and rest time.
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom.
• Building positive relationships with children and families.
