Job summary

The Regional YMCA Of Western Connecticut is seeking patient and caring individuals to work with three and four year olds from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The role requires Early Childhood Education credits and prior experience with Preschool children.

Candidates should be willing to learn NAEYC and CT State Licensing Standards and to attend trainings. Certification in First Aid/CPR or willingness to obtain it is required, and bilingual Portuguese/Spanish skills are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education credits and prior experience with Preschool children a must.
• Knowledge of or willing to learn NAEYC and CT State Licensing Standards.
• Must be willing to attend all necessary trainings, be certified in First Aid (CT Childcare)/CPR or willing to become certified.
• Bi-lingual skills in Portuguese or Spanish a plus.
