Job summary

Spring Education Group seeks an Early Preschool Assistant Teacher to nurture a safe, vibrant classroom for ages 2 to 3. You will work with partner teachers to guide daily activities, foster creative learning, and support each child’s growth through positive engagement.

You will collaborate with staff, communicate with families, and uphold safety standards while helping with meals, rest times, and routine care. This role emphasizes patience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 6 sem or 9 quarter ECE units covering child development and curriculum.
• Patience, compassion and a love for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Prior preschool teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, responsive environment that supports social and emotional growth.
• Daily communication with parents and guardians; collaborate with co-teachers and staff.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean classroom following safety and licensing guidelines.
• Assist children during meals, snacks, rest periods, and routine personal care.
• Take on related classroom and school support duties as assigned.
