Job description

PCS Preschool is seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as an Assistant/Floater. This part-time position will primarily involve providing support during lunch breaks and aftercare coverage.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in supervising children during lunch breaks and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
2. Support teachers and other staff members in implementing daily activities.
3. Conduct engaging and age-appropriate group activities for children during aftercare sessions.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and play areas.
5. Foster positive relationships with parents, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting.
2. Understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents.
4. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
5. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.

Schedule:

1. Monday to Thursday: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
2. Friday: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Agreement and consent to School's Statement of Faith.
2. Prior experience working with kids preferred.
