Job summary

Merryhill School is seeking a Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood team in Las Vegas. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to deliver age-appropriate activities, support daily routines, and help cultivate a warm, inclusive learning environment for young children.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with CDA or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, and prior experience in a school or childcare setting.

About the Role

As a Preschool Assistant Teacher at Merryhill School, you will play an integral role in creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Working in close partnership with the Lead Teacher, you will support daily classroom operations, facilitate learning experiences, and help foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and eager to grow professionally, with opportunities to develop skills that support advancement into future Lead Teacher roles.

You will also:

• Support the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and daily classroom routines

• Collaborate with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure consistency and quality in the learning experience

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CDA, Associate’s Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
