Qualifications

• ASL interpretation and paraprofessional support for preschool-aged students.
• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASL interpretation during classroom instruction, activities, and school events.
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, peers, and families as appropriate.
• Support students in achieving academic, social, and developmental goals.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities.
• Implement accommodations outlined in student IEPs and educational plans.
• Encourage positive student engagement and independence.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district and state guidelines.
