Preschool and Children's Ministry Assistant

Overview of Responsibilities

Assist the Children's Minister / Preschool Director in organizing and implementing a faith-based, high-quality church and preschool program.

Specific Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for Sunday mornings
• Maintain volunteer schedules for Children's Ministry events and programs
• Perform basic office functions (copying, filing, etc.)
• Organize and maintain Children's Ministry and Preschool Resource areas
• Notify the Director when supplies are low for replenishment
• Manage client accounting for the preschool, including tuition payments and dues
• Handle bank deposits
• Assist with holiday events for Children's Ministry and Preschool
• Attend all staff meetings of the Preschool and church staff as requested
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Children's Minister / Preschool Director

Spiritual Qualities

Possess a strong faith in Christ as Savior and a clear calling to work with children in church and school settings. Maintain a regular devotional life, attend worship regularly, and strive to glorify God in home, community, and church activities.
