The teacher’s aide provides support for the instructional program including but not limited to: assistance with student supervision, classroom preparation, and clerical help. The teacher’s aide will assist the lead teacher in promoting emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual growth for our students. St. Joseph School follows the State of Michigan licensing requirements.
The position is full-time, Monday-Friday 7:45 am – 3:30 pm. Candidates must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma, preferably with childcare experience and must be someone who is of dependable, responsible, team-oriented character and have a passion for working with children of all developmental levels. The desired candidate for the position is a practicing Catholic, actively involved in parish life.
