Base pay range

$15.50/hr - $16.00/hr

Summary

Interviewing now for the 2024-2025 school year (Late August 2024 start). Cub Care Children's Center has been providing excellent early childhood education programs since 1998. We are looking for a dedicated individual to help young children develop early learning and social skills in a culturally responsive environment.

Duties
  • Work cooperatively with the Lead Teacher and assist in coordinating activities.
  • Prepare and organize learning materials.
  • Assist in implementing weekly lesson plans.
  • Build experience working with children, demonstrate creativity, flexibility, and good communication skills.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with families.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas.
  • Complete at least 15 hours of annual training as required.
Requirements

Preferred: Associates Degree or CDA Certificate.

Minimum: High School Diploma and experience with children aged 2-5.

  • Part-time, 30 hours/week, 11:45 am - 5:45 pm.
  • Health check, fingerprinting, background check required.
  • 3 references, including one from a previous employer or supervisor if possible.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with children aged 2-5.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
