Job summary

Chelmsford Public Schools seeks a Preschool ABA Paraprofessional for the Chelmsford Integrated Preschool (CHIPS). You will support preschool children academically, socially, emotionally, and physically, using ABA teaching strategies and individualized supports.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with preschoolers preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with ABA principles strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Uses applied behavior analysis teaching, communication and reinforcement techniques consistently.
• Accurately completes required documentation and data collection daily.
• Works with an individual student to reinforce learning per IEP/treatment plan.
• Assists in classroom routines including snack, lunch, and bathroom.
• Participates in in-service training and accepts direction/feedback.
