St. John Vianney Early Childhood Center is seeking a full time preschool 3s classroom assistant teacher to join our team. We are seeking someone who has experience working with children in a childcare setting or educational setting. An ideal candidate is someone who will establish a nurturing environment for children, maintain safe learning and play environments, and support the lead teacher with lessons and activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with activities, lesson, and routines
• Maintain student records
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
• Maintain a safe learning and play environment
• Establish and maintain a nurturing and welcoming rapport with children and families
• Support students with special or individualized needs

Candidate Requirements

• Completed or actively pursuing bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or similar field (preferred)
• Completed or actively pursuing Child Development Associate (CDA) (preferred)
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting or educational setting
