Job summary

The Goddard School of Linthicum is seeking a strong and energetic Lead Teacher for our Preschool classroom. The role offers a competitive salary, hands-on training, ongoing classroom support, and a generous benefits package tailored to early childhood education careers.

Required qualifications include a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, recognized certifications, and a minimum of 1 year of preschool classroom experience in a licensed center.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field is preferred.
• MINIMUM of 90 clock hour coursework for Preschool Age Group - 45 hours for growth and development and 45 hours for preschool methods and materials.
• Child Development Associates (CDA) in Preschool.
• Americans with Disabilities Training (ADA).
• Basic Health and Safety and annual updates for 2023 and 2024.
• CPR/ First Aid Certifications.
• 9 hour communications course.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a preschool classroom in a licensed childcare center.
