Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field is preferred
• Minimum of 90 clock hour coursework for Preschool Age Group – 45 clock hour for growth and development and 45 clock hour for preschool methods and materials
• Child Development Associate (CDA) in Preschool
• Americans with Disabilities Training (ADA)
• Basic Health and Safety and annual updates for 2023 and 2024
• CPR/First Aid Certifications
• 9 hour communications course
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a preschool classroom in a licensed childcare center
