Job Description: The Presales System Engineer serves as a trusted technical advisor supporting HPE Networking Account Managers, Channel Partners, and customers throughout the sales cycle. This role is responsible for helping small and medium‑sized businesses modernize, secure, and simplify their network infrastructure through HPE Networking solutions. The Presales System Engineer combines networking knowledge, consultative selling skills, and customer‑facing expertise to position and recommend solutions across wired and wireless networking, network security, routing, SD‑WAN, SASE, and cloud‑managed networking environments. Working in a high‑velocity sales environment, the Presales System Engineer supports multiple opportunities simultaneously and partners closely with sales teams to drive customer success and business growth.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. – United States of America: Annual Salary USD 91,000 - 209,500 in Illinois & North Carolina & Texas This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target‑level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on‑target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target‑level sales compensation is 75%/25%.
