Presales Principal Solution Consultant - Public Sector (Federal)

What You'll Do

As a Lead Enterprise Solution Engineer, you'll collaborate with the Public Sector/Federal sales team to understand complex customer needs and craft tailored solutions using Docusign’s platform. Your role is to demonstrate value through engaging storytelling and technical expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales quotas to support company goals.
  • Develop a sales pipeline through prospecting in designated territories or verticals.
  • Deliver customized presentations and product demos via phone and online.
  • Negotiate enterprise proposals and contracts.
  • Forecast sales activities and revenue accurately.
  • Collaborate with pre/post-sales teams including Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Legal, Security, and Support.

Remote: Work primarily from a designated remote location. Job designation may vary based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic
  • 12+ years of Federal Government pre-sales experience selling SaaS solutions.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred
  • 15+ years of relevant pre-sales experience, especially with cloud-based CLM solutions.
  • Proficiency in software demos, technical documentation, and working across organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, ECM), web services, APIs, and electronic signature concepts.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to travel 45%+.
  • Located in Virginia or Washington, D.C.
