Job description

We’re seeking a seasoned Pre-Sales Solution Architect, a pivotal role in shaping tailored, high-impact solutions for prospective and existing clients. Working closely with Sales and Engineering teams, you’ll lead the development and delivery of compelling solution proposals that align KMS’s capabilities with each client’s unique business goals.

You’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor—translating complex needs into actionable strategies, showcasing our expertise in AI, Data, Cloud, and Product Engineering, and clearly articulating the value we bring. Your focus will span enterprise and high-growth clients—including large ISVs, healthcare innovators, and digital-native businesses—in the U.S. mid-market segment ($100M–$2B in revenue), many navigating digital transformation, scaling delivery, or evolving through private equity-backed growth.

This is a dynamic, client-facing role for someone who thrives at the intersection of business needs and technical excellence.

What You’ll Do
  1. Lead the Technical Discovery Journey: Engage deeply with clients to uncover business challenges and translate them into innovative, impactful technical solutions.
  2. Design with Vision: Create solution blueprints and architecture diagrams that communicate value, innovation, and alignment with client goals.
  3. Be the Face of Innovation: Lead client presentations, technical deep dives, and workshops, showcasing KMS’s expertise and building trust.
  4. Bring Ideas to Life: Develop high-impact Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and designs reflecting client needs and industry trends.
  5. Own the Technical Narrative: Support bid management, RFx responses, and Statements of Work (SOWs) with clear technical insights.
  6. Lead and Inspire: Provide technical leadership and mentorship within pre-sales teams, collaborating with delivery teams to ensure seamless transitions.
  7. Stay Ahead of the Curve: Work with Product and Innovation teams to incorporate emerging technologies, ensuring solutions are future-proof.
  8. Architect with Integrity: Design solutions that meet high standards of security, compliance, and data privacy.
  9. Champion Our Culture: Embody KMS’s values and foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in pre-sales or solution architecture, with a focus on technical solution design and customer engagement.
  • Expertise in designing and presenting enterprise solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and emerging AI/Data technologies.
  • Strong foundation in software development, architectural patterns, microservices, serverless, and cloud migration strategies.
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in system integration, API design, and enterprise architecture supporting scalable solutions.
