Job summary

Mittera Creative + Tech in Beaver Dam, WI is seeking a detail-driven Prepress Technician to prepare client files for press layouts and ensure color accuracy.

You will create layouts using Kodak Preps, image plates, and edit files in Adobe Acrobat and InDesign, ensuring every job is press-ready and delivered on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in Prepress or Graphic Arts preferred but not required.
• Effective communication with other departments such as Customer Service and Pressroom.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must work well under deadlines and in stressful situations.
• Be organized, able to plan, prioritize and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Has basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Bring designs to life! We're looking for a detail-driven Prepress Technician to ensure every project is press-ready, color-perfect, and delivered with precision from screen to print.

A Prepress Technician prepares client files for press layouts and final print production. Create layouts using Kodak Preps software for jobs as they are produced on designated presses. Use plate setter to image plates as the press schedule dictates on a day to day basis. Edit files using Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InDesign based on client and internal requests.
