Job summary

The Marek Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Prepress Technician in Waukesha, WI to join our commercial printing operation.

You will prepare customer files for offset and digital printing, leveraging Adobe Creative Cloud and a deep understanding of production workflows to ensure high-quality results. Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a commercial printing prepress environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro.
• Strong understanding of offset and digital printing, CMYK and spot color printing, PDF/X standards, color management, typography, bleeds, trim, and page layout.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Correct and optimize files to meet production requirements.
• Create press-ready PDF files.
