Job summary

The Sheridan Group is seeking a Prepress Technician for the 2nd shift to handle production and quality control of plates, assemble content, and manage color proofs while maintaining schedules and data records.

This role requires basic computer skills, good organizational abilities, and the stamina to work during a 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift with potential overtime. Training and benefits are provided as part of Sheridan's comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to perform work productively and safely.
• Reliable; good attendance is required.
• Required to work overtime, according to departmental policy.
• Must possess ability to work at a rapid pace.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Continuous standing required.
• Frequent walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead required.
• Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling required.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required.
• Pass company color perception test.
• Must wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes.
