Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a skilled production support specialist to prepare final files for press and assist in the pressroom. You will layout, trap, and output proofs from PDFs and customer files while following safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading technical layouts, performing some mechanical tasks, and supporting color corrections during production. A high school diploma and printing experience are preferred, with a Tuesday–Friday 7:00am–5:00pm schedule and a pay

• 2 Years of previous printing experience.

Responsibilities

• Layout and trapping of final PDF files from customer’s app or PDF file.
• Layout and trapping of all book work.
• Output proofs to be QC’d.
• Create emboss, spot UV and foil files as needed.
• Output film for all special effects.
• Assist pressroom with color corrections as needed.
• Adhere to safety, security and environmental policies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary:

Prepare all final files for press and support pressroom as needed while following all safety and quality control standards.

Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm

Rate: $25.75 - $33.25 Based on experience

Position Responsibilities:

• Layout and trapping of all final PDF files from customer’s app or PDF file

• Layout and trapping of all book work

• Output proofs to be QC’d

• System work as needed to create, emboss, spot UV and foil files

• Output film for all special effects

• Assisting pressroom with color corrections as needed

• Adheres to and promotes all safety, security and environmental policies and procedures

• All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shift

• Ability to occasionally carry and lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to bend and reach for extended periods of time
