Job summary

Plum Market is seeking a Prepared Produce Manager to oversee the Prepared Produce section, including cut fruit, packaged produce, and juiced items. You will lead the department to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain fresh displays, and manage schedules while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards.

You will train and supervise Team Members, collaborate with the Produce Team Leader, and work with Store Leadership to meet margin goals and keep inventory aligned with demand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team in a retail or food production setting.
• Strong knowledge of produce handling, rotation, food safety, and merchandising.
• Ability to meet departmental margin, labor, and shrink targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coach Team Members in daily production, rotation, packaging, and merchandising of all Prepared Produce items.
• Ensure full, fresh, and appealing displays that meet Plum Market quality and presentation standards.
• Execute daily par levels, manage prep guides, and ensure consistent product availability.
• Monitor product rotation and labeling to maintain food safety and freshness standards.
• Maintain proper use of cut gloves, knife safety, and adherence to sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with the Produce Team Leader on ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
• Support Team Members in delivering knowledgeable, friendly service to all Guests.
• Communicate effectively with Team Members, Store Leadership, and the Director Group.
• Uphold all Plum Market policies, food safety procedures, and standard operating practices.
