Whole Foods Market in San Diego seeks a Supervising Prepared Foods Team Member to assist with scheduling, supervise staff, and ensure smooth department flow. You will maintain engaging Prepared Foods, coffee, and juice displays and support Team Leaders to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include training, opening/closing the department, stocking and rotating products, and upholding health, safety, and regulatory standards while fostering teamwork and a positive store image.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Prepared Foods team procedures and policies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
• Capable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner.
• Product knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
• Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
• Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.

Responsabilités

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Trains Team Members to build a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using checklists and materials.
• Keeps all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated.
• Opens and closes department according to established procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves the highest standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
• Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
• Provides timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.
• Consistently communicates and models WFM vision and goals.
