Qualifications

• Experience required: 0 to 6 months.
• Food Safety experience preferred.
• No High School diploma required.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Age: at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department area and equipment cleanliness to meet safety standards.
• Provide exemplary customer service by greeting customers and ensuring orders meet expectations.
• Advise customers with product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience.
• Provide products and services that meet internal and external customer requirements and follow company values.
• Handle products and equipment safely to ensure a secure shopping environment.
• Set up and replenish food cases according to company standards and dating procedures.
• Possess knowledge of code dating.
• Record special orders on prepared foods to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining coolers and freezers by unloading deliveries.
• Follow procedures to meet out-of-stock percentage goals.
• Rotate and check code dates on products to ensure customer safety.
• Check in deliveries by comparing invoice to merchandise.
• Assist in other areas as required.
