Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members to handle preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking in our Prepared Foods sections. You will ensure proper labeling, dating, rotation, and quality while engaging customers with courtesy and knowledge.

You will contribute to a clean, organized, and safe store environment and support company programs and health standards. This entry-level role involves opening/closing duties, on-floor team engagement, and use of proper safety practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and teamwork.
• Performs duties with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are labeled, dated, covered, and rotated.
• Maintains quality and safety per WFM guidelines.
• Documents waste and spoilage using forms.
• Provides excellent customer service and upselling when appropriate.
• Ensures clean and organized walk-ins and freezers.
