Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking Team Members to support Prepared Foods operations, ensure proper labeling and rotation, and assist with production across venues. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate product information, and help maintain safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes, managing waste, assisting customers with product knowledge, and supporting on-floor merchandising and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Duties emphasize strong product knowledge and ability to follow recipes precisely.
• Ability to communicate market information to customers.
• Understanding of spoilage, waste, and department profit impact.
• Strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and meeting service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating, coverage, and rotation of products.
• Maintain quality and preparation per WFM guidelines.
• Document waste and spoilage with appropriate forms.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers; suggestive selling.
• Maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow Weights & Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Keep work areas clean and equipment maintained per safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; verify signage and pricing.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
