Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Arlington, TX is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support the Prepared Foods department with friendly customer service, accurate labeling, stocking, and sanitation. You will engage with customers, maintain clean workstations, and contribute to a safe, efficient team environment.

Responsibilities include production support, labeling, dating, waste tracking, and following established recipes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6–8 hours in an 8-hour day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensures proper use of measuring devices and recipes are followed.
• Helps customers understand differences between WFM products and conventional stores.
• Keeps walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures price signs are accurate.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
