Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club in Stafford Meadows, TX is seeking a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead to supervise hourly associates and drive sales across the prepared foods area. You will model expertise, manage rotations, and collaborate with fellow leaders to meet member expectations.

You’ll use handheld tech for production decisions, train staff, and maintain a safe, clean work area while ensuring quality and compliance. This is a full-time role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team.
• Preferred experience supervising a team in a retail or club setting.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Leader supervising the prepared foods departments and manage rotations and staffing.
• Be an Expert ensuring quality, inventory, sanitation, safety and compliance.
• Be a Techie using handheld tools to plan, monitor production and improve the shopper experience.
• Be an Owner driving profitability and ensuring staffing, audits and merchandise layout.
• Be a Talent Ambassador training and developing team members and sourcing new talent.
• Leads and participates in teams to meet timelines and quality goals.
