Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in Rochester Hills is seeking a dishwashing/kitchen helper to wash dishes, keep the kitchen area clean, and support teammates in daily operations.

You will maintain sanitation, assist with deliveries and stocking, follow health and safety procedures, and contribute to a positive store image with courteous service. The position offers a wage range of $16.00 to $25.40 per hour, with Whole Benefits included.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to follow directions and SOPs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Mantains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Makes sure environment is clean and sanitary; maintains equipment per WFM standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
