Job summary

Sam’s Club in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead to supervise hourly associates, drive sales, and deliver high‑quality meals to members. You will model expertise in Prepared Foods and Café and collaborate with other leaders to meet the club’s goals.

Responsibilities include leading caf/rotisserie operations, using digital tools for planning, ensuring safety and compliance, and developing talent to strengthen the team.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead prepared foods and café team to meet sales goals and deliver quality meals.
• Ensure quality, inventory, sanitation, and safety compliance across the area.
• Utilize digital tools to plan for and drive sales and improve operations.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area with appropriate staffing.
• Coach and develop team members to grow capabilities and performance.
