Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Bedford, NH is hiring Team Members for preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking. You will deliver courteous, friendly, and efficient service and support store programs and health and safety standards.

You will perform opening/closing duties, assist customers, maintain cleanliness, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Wage ranges from $16.00 to $25.40 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensures product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Helps customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Maintains walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; completes shifts and trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, uses suggestive selling, answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health and safety standards.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work/shopping environment; upkeep of equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
