The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESManages the overall execution and performance of assigned Mechanical Installation and Startup teams. Ensures Branch goals and objectives are met. Goals and objectives are aligned with company’s and from a priority include SINC, cash flow, reducing equipment/project slippage, backlog growth, SG&A, productivity improvements, succession planning etc.Drives asset management including cost control, billings, collections, and payablesEnsures that the estimating and engineering standards are used effectivelyFollows up on customer satisfaction issues and drives resolution. Provides leadership by demonstrating focus on achieving customer satisfactionDevelops and builds contractor, customer, consultant, and subcontractor relationships in the communityAssists Project Team Leaders, System Team Leaders, Sales, Project Engineers, and Lead Systems Specialists in the review and interpretation of contract terms and conditionsResponsible for scheduling of installation projects and backlog, including scheduling of want dates and ship datesCoaches teams on the management of project risks, conflict resolution and establishment project recovery plansPromotes the securing of change ordersEnsures compliance with the Safety Program for employees and subcontractorsEnsures compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and ensures that installation business is conducted with the highest ethical standardsConducting regular job site inspectionsMeet with salesperson for project handoffPreschedule date Jobsite visits as neededSchedule prep & startup of new equipmentSchedules technicians for, and confirms warranty issues are addressedACCOUNTABILITIESContinual learning and development in the body of knowledge through FirstCall Academy, to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industryElite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC needsORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENTThis position reports to the local Construction Senior Project Manager and is responsible for engaging with the service team and all of our customers.High school diploma or equivalent5+ years’ experience in a related positionMust have prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in the HVAC industryMust have the ability to read and understand engineered drawingsEPA certification preferredMust display strong communication skills and technical competenceStrong initiative to drive growth through superior customer serviceAn interest in working in a fast-paced environment focused on customer serviceA can-do attitude with a high degree of integrity, sense of urgency and attention to detailBasic computer skills including MS OfficeExcellent communication skillsExcellent analytical skillsAbility to pass a thorough background check and drug screenMust have and be able to maintain a clean driving recordBEHAVIORAL PROFILELanguage SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
