Prep / Pantry Cook – Paradox

Responsibilities
- Maintain and follow all department operating procedures: complete daily temperature logs, cleaning logs, line check sheets, and food waste sheets.
- Ensure compliance with all food-handling and sanitation regulations.
- Prepare all food items: fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, and other ingredients for all restaurants and banquets.
- Support buffet and banquet operations; execute prep work based on production list and/or banquet BEOs.
- Work pantry and/or dessert stations in a la‑carte and buffet restaurants.
- Execute food orders according to guest preferences promptly while managing multiple orders.
- Monitor supply levels of food, paper goods, and wares; replenish as needed.
- Monitor equipment operation, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and call for repairs.
- Assist in stock inventory, requisitioning supplies, and verifying receipt.
- Maintain proper dishware and utensil hygiene; clean and sanitize all cooking areas.
- Follow all ecosystem or similar food safety and sanitation program standards.
- Assist the Sous Chef, Executive Chef or other leadership as requested.
- Wrap up shift by checking out with a culinary leader.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum one year of previous cook experience in a similar environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and sanitation.
- Ability to work with Point of Sale and Kitchen Display Systems.
- Flexible scheduling – nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must obtain local/state food handling permits and serve‑safe certification.
- Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.
- Preferred: previous resort/hotel cook experience.
- Proven teamwork, professional image, and positive energy.

Pay Rate
$21.75 per hour. Compensation includes potential bonuses, paid time off, and other perks.
