Job Description

The Springs Resort and Spa in Pagosa Springs, CO, is seeking a dedicated Prep/Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to standard, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for quality food.

Responsibilities
  • Wash, peel, chop, dice, and portion ingredients as directed.
  • Prepare sauces, stocks, and other foundational components.
  • Label, store, and rotate ingredients following FIFO principles.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and equipment.
Line Cook Duties
  • Cook and plate dishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Work efficiently at designated stations (grill, sauté, fry, pantry, etc.).
  • Keep workstation clean and organized, including tools and knives.
  • Coordinate with team members for smooth service.
  • Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
