Job Description

Your Mission: The Springs Resort and Spa in Pagosa Springs, CO, is seeking a dedicated Prep/Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specifications, and maintaining a clean workstation. Ideal for those who excel in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about food.

Responsibilities
Prep Cook Duties
  • Wash, peel, chop, dice, and portion ingredients.
  • Prepare sauces, stocks, and other foundational components.
  • Label, store, and rotate ingredients following FIFO principles.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and equipment.
Line Cook Duties
  • Cook and plate dishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Work efficiently at assigned stations.
  • Keep workstation clean and organized.
  • Communicate with team for smooth service.
  • Monitor food quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
Education/Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred.
Experience
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred.
Skills
