Elroy's Italian-American Restaurant is seeking a Prep and Line Cook to prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and hygiene standards. You will manage portions, follow established procedures, and ensure minimal waste while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities include grilling, sautéing, roasting, and plating meals, labeling ingredients, and collaborating with the team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; but two years of experience preferred.
• Must stand 8–10 hours, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in noisy, hot or cold environments and maintain hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients following recipes and procedures.
• Grill, sauté, roast, fry, and broil to complete meals.
• Organize and label ingredients for easy access.
• Present meals with proper diningware and plating.
• Control costs by adhering to recipes and portion sizes.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen per sanitation rules and codes.
