St. Patrick’s Residence in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Part-Time Prep Cook for our Skilled Nursing Facility. You’ll prepare meals per standardized recipes and dietary orders, and ensure foods are handled and served safely in a sanitary environment.

Experience in healthcare food service is preferred. You must follow production sheets, respect therapeutic diets, and be able to work every other weekend and weekends as needed. The role offers competitive pay and opportunities for on-site training.

Responsibilities

• Handle and prepare food in accordance with federal, state and local sanitary regulations.

• Meet time schedules for serving of meals and snacks.
• Ensure food items are prepared, cooled and stored in adherence to corporate, local, state and federal guidelines.
• Supervise and set up steam table for Main Dining Room and trayline meal service to facilitate organized, speedy and sanitary delivery of meals.
• Check outgoing food for proper amounts, types and quality of food.
• Properly care for dietary equipment.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, Department of Public Health and Board of Health Standards.

We are seeking to fill the position of Prep Cook Part-Time.

• $18 to $21 per hour based on circumstances including skills, qualifications, degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
• Flexible Schedule, must be able to work Weekends.

PrepCook Qualifications:
