Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook I to join our culinary team. If you’re passionate about food and teamwork, with culinary experience, you will contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and creating chef-inspired dishes in state-of-the-art kitchens.

We offer a compensation of $17.00–$19.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k with company match, and a 30% dining discount on site.

Qualifications

• Kitchen or restaurant experience preferred; training available.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in varying temperatures from hot kitchens to cold areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and workstation.
• Support residents by preparing menu items that align with Signature Dining Programs.
