Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Virginia is seeking a Prep Cook to join our dining team. You will assist in preparing all food items according to safety and cooking techniques, and contribute to our Signature Dining Programs in a state-of-the-art kitchen.

The role requires prior kitchen experience, weekend and holiday availability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with hot and cold work environments.

Qualifications

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience is highly preferred, but willing to train.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Location: Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Prep Cook if you’re passionate about food and teamwork, with culinary experience. You will contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and creating chef-inspired dishes, while working with a dedicated team in state-of-the-art kitchens and using top-notch equipment.

• Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, based with experience
