Job summary

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Prep Cook positions at the Texas Masonic Retirement Community in Arlington, TX. You will prepare items per recipes and assist the culinary team in delivering quality meals to residents and guests.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of prep cook experience and a current Food Handler's Certificate is highly preferred. The role requires flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays, with a strong emphasis on food

Qualifications

• At least one year of prep cook experience.
• Food Handler's Certificate is preferred.
• Flexibility to work days, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets following recipes and quantities.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain food safety and sanitation.
• Take orders from customers and prepare items with short lead times.
• Serve customers efficiently and with a friendly approach.
