We are hiring immediately for seasonal PREP COOK positions.

Location: Camp May Flather - 23 Camp May Flather Road, Mount Solon, VA 22843

Schedule: Seasonal schedule, Sunday - Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Prior commercial kitchen experience, food safety knowledge, knife skills, and communication skills required.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepare items on production sheets following recipes and quantities.
  • Complete production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
  • Operate and clean equipment after each use.
  • Store, label, and date all food items following HACCP guidelines.
  • Complete documentation, reports, and logs as required.
  • Follow health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
  • Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short prep time.
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grills at multiple stations.
  • Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
  • Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
