Job Description

  • We are hiring for Blue Bridge Market located in the Gerald R. Ford Airport.
  • The Food Prep role is responsible for executing daily tasks aligned with our Mission Statement, which emphasizes providing First Class Service to both internal and external guests.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Exceed First Class Service standards with every guest, business partner, and peer.
  • Treat guests and peers according to the company's core values and utilize established communication channels.
  • Maintain high standards for all product preparation and presentation.
  • Build guest loyalty and improve selling skills through available training materials.
  • Keep a clean, organized work environment free of safety hazards, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed.
  • Follow merchandising standards consistent with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including food safety regulations.
Position Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment when interacting with guests.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
  • Willingness to work various shifts in a 24/7 team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
