Responsibilities
As our Prep Cook/Porter, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly and deliciously! Your daily tasks will include:
- Mastering the art of protein prep, vegetable chopping, and sauce crafting (hello, flavor town!).
- Keeping our kitchen stocked and ready for action throughout your shift.
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware until they shine brighter than your future!
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while following health and safety guidelines (because cleanliness is next to deliciousness!).
- Collaborating with our talented chefs and fellow cooks to create culinary magic.
Your Essential Ingredients:
- A passion for food and a willingness to learn.
- A knack for organization and cleanliness (we like our kitchens tidy!).
- The ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- A commitment to adhering to State Health and Hygiene Requirements and Newport Healthcare culinary standards.
Qualifications
- Three (3) months of restaurant experience preferred.
