Responsibilities

As our Prep Cook/Porter, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly and deliciously! Your daily tasks will include:

  • Mastering the art of protein prep, vegetable chopping, and sauce crafting (hello, flavor town!).
  • Keeping our kitchen stocked and ready for action throughout your shift.
  • Washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware until they shine brighter than your future!
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while following health and safety guidelines (because cleanliness is next to deliciousness!).
  • Collaborating with our talented chefs and fellow cooks to create culinary magic.

Your Essential Ingredients:

  • A passion for food and a willingness to learn.
  • A knack for organization and cleanliness (we like our kitchens tidy!).
  • The ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
  • A commitment to adhering to State Health and Hygiene Requirements and Newport Healthcare culinary standards.
