  • We are hiring immediately for part-time PREP COOK positions.
  • Address: 200-298 N Sugar Road, Edinburg, TX 78541 Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Part-time; Monday - Friday and some weekends. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior prep cook experience is required.
  • Pay Range: $12.00 to $13.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepare items following recipes and quantities.
  • Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals for quality.
  • Operate and clean equipment after use.
  • Store, label, and date food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines.
  • Complete required documentation, reports, logs.
  • Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Take customer orders and prepare items with short prep time.
  • Serve customers efficiently and friendly.
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grills.
  • Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
  • Resolve customer concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
