Job Opening: Prep Cook at Canteen

• Location: B&G FOODS - 2301 Tones Drive, Ankeny, IA 50021 (Online applications only)
• Schedule: On-call, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 2:00 pm or 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm. Details provided during interview.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year required
• Pay Range: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Job Summary

Role: Prepare food and serve customers following federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Chef for daily production and preparation requirements.
• Follow recipes and production sheets for food preparation.
• Maintain quality and safety standards, including HACCP guidelines.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment properly.
• Label and store food items correctly.
• Complete documentation, reports, and logs as required.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
• Handle customer concerns professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
