Job summary

Compass Group USA, Eurest Cafe and Marketplace at Burlington Stores in Ellabell, GA, is hiring a full-time Prep Cook. Shifts run 6:00 am–4:00 pm, about 40 hours per week, with 4 days on and 3 off per week and no nights.

Requires at least 5 years in food service, knife/prep skills, and ServSafe is a plus. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour; benefits are provided for both full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of food service experience.
• Knife and prep skills required; ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following recipes and quantities.
• Completes daily production worksheets and waste logs; samples meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy; follows HACCP.
• Completes required documentation, reports and logs as required.
• Resolves customer concerns; serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
