Job summary

Legends|ASM Global is seeking a Prep Cook at the Long Beach Amphitheater. You will support culinary operations, follow recipes, and prepare cold and hot foods to specification. The role requires teamwork, a positive attitude, and adherence to health and sanitation standards.

Must have at least 1 year cooking/food prep experience, be 18+, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Union membership under Unite Here Local 11 is a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• 1 year entry level cooking and food prep experience in food service, preferably premium services, catering or concessions.
• Strong communication with co-workers and management.
• Customer service oriented with initiative and culinary skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours including late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and cook to required specifications.
• Prepare cold foods including salads, dressings, and ready-to-eat items.
• Assist with hot food production using kitchen equipment as needed.
• Work at a buffet action station and maintain high quality presentation.
• Maintain county health, sanitation standards and Legends Hospitality standards.
• Rotate between service locations as needed and assist management.
